So my car is officially back on the road 29th June, and I want to have everything ready by then hence the garage trip 11th June.

I'm new to owning a car so I am not clued up about what the best to use of certain stuff is in regards to general car operation Very Happy , so I request your wisdom on some things below.

--------------------
206
1.4L Petrol
--------------------

Oil

What is the best oil I should be using ?. I heard something about Magnatec or something ?

Brake fluid

Is there any specific one that's the best or are they all the same?

Windscreen wash

Anything that's better than the rest ?

Any other consumables that should be put in the car ? (Please don't say Petrol :D)

Cheers Guys

Cheers for such an anal comment but I wouldn't expect anything different from you.

The reason of me being confused is not the fact that I 'Obviously don't read' but it would be a result of stuff like 10W40 as I have no clue what these mean, The same goes with FMVSS 116 DOT4. A little explanation what these mean would be nice.

10w40 oil fully synthetic castrol edge is very good you won't go wrong used in my focus st.

Dot 4 brake fluid in your car any make it won't make a differnce.

Screen wash won't make a differnce any brand.
