ok ive had lots of probs with my 206 hdi losing its power and cutting out whilst driving after reading on here it seems to be a common probably 
any after trying many things that did not work i found that my fuel filter was not seated correctly  and since refiting it the probably has gone but you carnt see from looking at it that its not fitting correctly ..hope this helps others
