when I told the insurance about the 3.0 in mine my quote insurance went down by £430 have no idea why saying that I don't thinking doing it at 17s a good idea if the insurance cost does'not want to make you commit suicide i'm sure the fuel cost would. id just build the no claims up mate I know its a pain but unless you got big money it ain't worth it.

along side the power chip which cost about 50p and adds 20000bhp due to the led lighting up Smile

Any increase in power will increase insurance, because, quite rightly, insurance companies assume that by making your car faster, you're more likely to crash.

That and it's a 1.1, you're hardly going to get a 0-60 under 10 seconds, even if you remove the entire interior bar the drivers seat.

Options

A) Buy a car with a bigger engine

B) Replace the 1.1's engine with a V6

Both of the above will increase your insurance
