Just noticed 2day my thermostat housing is leaking water, anyone know what causes this and why? Also how to repair? Some1 mentioned head gasket on the way out

If the thermostat housing is separate just take it off & replace the gasket.

helps if we know what car it is but I would replace it as they aren't that expensive.
