I have recently bought a new central locking circuit for my key, I have looked on Autodata and it says to reprogram the key I have to put it into the ignition and hold the button. Tried this a few times now and nothing is happening. Does anybody know how to program the keys, is specialist gear needed? Ideally I dont want to have to take the car to peugeot.

You need Peugeot Planet, the correct PCB for the remote fob & a virgin transponder chip for the immobiliser.
You CANNOT code a replacement key using the RESYNC instruction.
