Hi,

I'm new here, but did a search before posting this question. Couldn't find anything similar.

I've bought a 1.6 16V 2002 (02 plate) about a month ago. The car has had passed the MOT 15 days before that and has HPI clear. One previous owner, etc. Anyway...

Around 4 days ago I've noticing a kind of creaking noise (like an old door closing) coming from the back of the car when I accelerate. Maybe it's just an impression, but I kinda feel a bit of power loss since then aswell.

The only things done on the car were 2 new tyres on the back (way before the noise started) and got the exhaust back box replaced.

Does anyone have any idea on what can be causing this weird noise?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers
