Ok so i started getting this knocking noise after my MOT.
I had my rear pads replaced, thats the only thing at the back they did.

I then took it back to them saying something was knocking, what they found was that the torsion bar had a bolt missing, and they said something along the lines of, they heated it up, tapped it out, redrilled a new one in....

I thought, great, it'll be all fixed, but that didnt solve anything.
It still knocks, I have had the car for a year and its only done it for last month now.

My next step is to replace the backbox, as i need to do this anyway, and i thought it might have been that knocking against the axle.

I also checked in the boot, as when i booked it in i found the wheel brace under the seat, removed it and cancelled the booking as i thought it was me being a d**k and not checking that 1st and that being the problem.
I have checked the boot lid, ie the wiper and locking mech's, the locking arm has movement but not enough to make this noise.

Which makes me think it could be something to do with the suspension.

Not sure.

Just wondered what things i should look out for knocking on the back.
