How do i know or find out which engine code my car has? I'm looking for parts and some are listed by year and others say engine codes? I've checked the log book but it just has an FSR engine number? The car is a 2005 1.4i petrol model.

TU3JP or TU3A What's your chassis/VIN number?

Can i identify it from the vin? what will i be looking for in the number, the above codes mentioned?
