Has any body here changed the com 2000 unit on a gti 180 ??
Do you have to re program them on the 180??
I read somewhere that the gti 180 com2000 is not plug and play but all the others are ??

Ahh I see okay, how much do you think it'll cost to set up the Ecp then ??
I was thinking about just getting a com 2000 second hand and fitting it myself,
but i got a quote from automech for around £580 for a genuine new com 2000 + fitting + reprogramming, so that sort of confirms they arnt trying to add reprogramming to the list when it's not needed

If you know someone with PP2000 ask them to do it for beer tokens. New valeo comm from ECP is around £150-£180 depending on which one you need.
