hey all , i was looking at remapping my gti,
at the moment its compeletly standard however im looking at a full exhaust upgrade then remap,
just looking to see if anyone has any idead of what bhp im lookin to see after the remap either before or after and exhaust upgrade?

Power increase will be minimal, but it will probably drive smoother and feel more urgent. It will also be a bit more economical as a good remap makes the engine run more efficiently.

all above correct but barely noticable, main thing really is the power curve and it will be right for your engine i gained 13 from std book bhp and that cost me about 2k

I paid £150 and noticed better response at higher revs, as well as improved economy. Max was only about 141bhp, but the difference was noticeable.

I went on a group buy remap [years ago], basically I think it was 50% off for 10 cars or more

tbh i just want a lil bit more peak performance , has anyone noticed a diffrence with a 4-2-1 manifold ? regards to torque ect ?

mid range yes it made a nice difference even with std exhaust, cost me 150 to have fitted, was my 1st performance mod and would recomend it
