I have a 206 1.6 hdi and the aircon is switching on making noise but not producing any cold air.
Anyone know any comin faults with these systems or any way I can check to see what's wrong with it?

The easiest way is to find the refill valve and give it a quick venting, to see if any gas comes out. But its a bit dodgy, the gas shouldn't really be vented to the surrounding air.
I'm sure fast-fit places do a cheap or free check up.
