I have a banging noise coming from drivers front. It mainly happens when i turn left. Had passenger lower arm done for mot and just had both dropbars done. Any ideas?

possibly top mount bearings have died. get a friend to turn the steering wheel whilst you look at the suspension spring, if it is turning round its the bearing at the top

Is it clunking or an actual bang? If its a clunk then its most likely the top mount bearing, I got mine replaced and the clunking stopped! The guy showed me the old one and it was completely shattered

Mine was £20 for each side then youve got labour (if your getting a mechanic to do it)

I'd guess top mount too, had similar thing on my old saxo, the actual top mount isnt usually very expensive (between 15-30 quid at a guess), but the labour to remove the strut and replace it does bump it up slightly if having it done at a garage.
