Hi just got this 2000 1.4 glx
Have not looked atit properly yet
However it has no brakes what so ever just can pump the pedel all day long and you can just hear the servo sucking air
Is this a common problem on these? As I know usually the servo wouldn't be the first thing to go to?
So is there a simple known fix or will it be just replace and keep replacing till it'd fixed?
If it's going to cost a lot
I will break the car for parts as it needs some other bits for the mot aswell
Cheers for any help on this

Check your brake fluid level to make sure there isn't a leak somewhere. If the fluid is empty then start checking the brake lines for signs of leakage, also check the inside of the wheels for brake fluid as this is a good sign that the seals have gone in either the callipers or rear cylinders. Have a look around the servo for signs of leaks.
Check the pads and shoes for signs of excessive wear.

Have the lines been bled properly. Does the pedal harden up if you pump the pedal with engine off. If not then poss diaphragm in servo split. Or seals in master cylinder duff. These seals can get torn when bleeding an old system and the cylinder is moved past its normal range.

Why would you buy a car with no brakes in the first place?

didn't buy it
Took it in p/x
Hence why it's anything more than a few £ to fix il just scrap/break it
And nope does not harden up at all,did suspect the servo
