Mums got a 2.0hdi 90 preplex which keep going in and out of limp mode. Mechanic diagnosed it as air flow mass meter which we'll change next week. The car runs for a few seconds after the engine is switche off and keys removed. Any ideas?

this can be caused by MAF,or your turbo needs to be cleaned,it get dirty with oil and dust,so the spin will be heavier, which caues the limp mode,so try to clean it,and see how it's going.
