What will happen if i remove the bonnet liner from under the bonnet? (that carpet thing)

Will the heat melt the bonnet ?

if the heat can melt the bonnet surely your engine would have melt first.

in that case it will be a cat A write off.

so cut it short nothing would happen.

Took mine off ages ago. They always start to sag in the middle. Mine was rubbing on the air box and inlet elbow. No problems with getting rid of it. Weight saving too lol.

It also absorbs the water when the washer jet starts leaking and prevents the water causing problems with the injector.

mine were not spraying properly and was running down the bonnet. it made pretty patterns on my bonnet at high speeds
