just wondering what people get per gallon on there 1.4 as mine seams to be doing high 40s so iam well pleased.was thinking of getting rid and getting a diesl but now ive sat down and worked it out dont think a diesel will do any better. sorry if this in this the wrong place

I get around 35ish but I don't do much motorway driving, when I did I would hit around 40

Mine does 35 - 45mpg most of the time (unless I'm racing 180's, in which case it's 25-30mpg)

Mines around 30mpg give or take.

Go onto Fuelly and have a look at the comparisons. I'm averaging 36.9. my lowest has been 33.8 last December and I have just clocked my best at 42.2 Costing me 16.3 pence a mile on average

Whoa. I get 36mpg on my gti 138! I take it that's good then.

I get roughly 28 in my impreza if im lucky.....
