Hi guys, my front drivers seat is broke I have a three door and the bit that is broke is the mechanism which allows people to get in the back. You can pull the handle/leaver and it will violently shoot forward as normal but when it comes to pushing the upper half of the seat back to its set position it doesn't click into place it will just keep forcing itself forward (untill your head hits the steering wheel!) until you push it as far back as it will go (practically horizontal!!!!) and then it will stay in that place until you pull the leaver/handle and then your back to square one... Is this fix-able or will I need a whole new seat ? |
Same problem as this but it's obviously not as simple as buying a cheap seat from any basemodel...
What does one do?
Trying to laugh but I wish a giant meteorite would land on the f*****g thing. Be much easier than selling it.

Tbh this is the last straw with this car as soon as I can afford to it's bye bye.
Cba with it. I love it but I hate it more.
Hopefully sell it before it reaches 50k in 4k.

I will probably sell it but I was a little harsh on her. She's not new after-all.

I will be uploading a how to on it over the next two weeks. Really busy u see,
You will need a sports seat to strip down, and plenty of cable ties,

Ah there must be another way I don't have the time or expertise to strip a seat down, thought there would be a simple solution
