Hi since disconnecting and reconnecting the battery the battery light now stays on and the indicators have stopped working. The hazard lights work ok.
Can anyone suggest what the problem is please

Location: What's it to you? ? ?
Sod all information given about the 206 in question as usual on here, 2 totally different types of electrical systems used, one simple & one digital CAN VAN.
Its most likely multiplexed, reboot the BSI unit correctly.
If your lucky you wont have done any damage by disconnecting / reconnecting the battery & not following the correct BSI shut down / reboot procedure.

Ok this will help though at present I have to disconnect/reconnect the battery as the ignition switch has jammed in the start position with key in the lock. Can't get it out
Hopefully when the ignitions fixed i'll be able to try your suggested reboot of the BSI
