So my peugeot 206 just failed the MOT on the following problems , and any help with estimations would be great:

001 Offside front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover excessively deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt.

002. Nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt.

003. Offside front lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover excessively damaged so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt.

Im based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent so if anyone knows of any good local mechanics that would be great too.

Thanks

peugeot 206, sapphire blue, 2001.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply! Really £25 for the bar and fitting!? seems cheap! Do you have any idea on costings for the 002 and 003, because i presume i will need them repaired to pass my test

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

If you wishbones bushes and ball joint still in good condition, u can change the rubber dust cover. They are only £5 from ebay (only if your wishbones in good condition and your garage agree to carry out the work for u)

Most MOT places allow a week to get the work done and get the car back to them for free retest ... they don't have to do the work.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
