If the pipes are the same I would be. I'm assuming it's all under pressure at the min. So no leaks?

Its in bits at the minute as i'm breaking the car 
Was ok though prior to breaking.

Having read many many threads about a/c systems on here having discovered yet another thing that doesn't work on my car I still have a few questions...
Firstly I dint hear this "click" when pressing the ac button. So does that mean it's the compressor that's dead?
Also, where are the leaks most likely to be?
I'm having that "it works or refund" regas done at kwik fit so I guess I'll know if the system is leaking or not after that?
