Hi all!
New here and popped in for some advice about our youngests 206's front passenger seat.
It's a 2001 pre-plex 2.0 HDi, 3dr.

Apparantly, someone tried to slide the seat forward- then tilt it forward so they could get out of the back.
All that happens now is the seat reclines fully without aid of the levers and won't tilt forwards further than being in half recline position (hope that makes sense)
I whipped out the seat together with the driver's to compare side by side. I couldn't tell where the problem was.

I guess there's some sort of internal spring/ratchet mech that you can't get to without breaking/unwelding something...

After a couple of hours chin scratching I gave up and think a replacement seat id the way to go.
Are all frames the same Question
Her 206 has sporty types of seats and feel a seat cover stripping weekend coming on if I can source a seat that hasn't the same covers/foamy bits as hers.

Thanks in anticipation for any pointers.

You can use a non sport frame, just swop the 2 metal loop bolsters over on the back rest part form your original frame, there only bolted on Wink

Some 206 have a folding passenger seat with storage box under the base, avoid this type of seat as im pretty sure the base part of the frame is different & no good for you.

Lovely stuff.
Thanks for your help so far Cool

I'll be having a nosey down my 'fairly local' scrappies over the weekend to see if there's a (Hopefully) matching seat...He says he has 'lots' of 206's in stock Shocked . If not then it's a cover change with one with working mechanicals.

Cheers.
