noticed this this morning only happens when car is cold..just sounds as if it doesnt want to start then when it does start all the dash lights dim down and a consent bleep starts anyone no wats wrong?

it tells you whats wrong does it not? anti pollution fault? try getting the codes read....

the anti pollution fault has been up for a while and this has came on all of a sudden

Check the fault codes first, get the battery tested or just check it with a good donor one to see if the fault goes

But from what i saw on the video doesnt look like a battery but from what you describe it does sound similar (if you didnt have the anti polution fault i would firstly suggest battery, but since you do....)

if it gives you a "Bongggg" sound,then that means your battery is weak,and need to be replaced ASAP,you will have more problems caused if the low voltage when you start your car.

I had that problem when my last car was mapped, turned out to be the maf sensor, it was either cleaned or replaced and all was well.

yep battery!! i lived with the beep for a month or so till one day it didnt start!
When you get a new battery go for a decent one, not a cheap one as it wont last!

Going by what I was told maybe it was o2 sensor it was like 7 years ago. It's not my current car.

It was definitely a sensor though and after it was cleaned it ran sweet.

It's french electrics, mysterious things that have no link between the two can happen.
