Hey there, just recently joined up as I wouldn't actually mind knowing what im dealing with here until money is spent on the car. What happens is normally when it has been Raining my 206 seems to clunk when turning the wheel from left to right. When its Dry weather the car is fine. I've been told it was my Stabiliser Link Rods I got both of them done still happens then I was told its my driveshaft.. I then asked my work friend to take me to a garage he knows where they fix taxi's etc. They claimed it to be my Top Mount Bearings. What would you suggest spraying some WD40 on the mounts and suspension or getting both sides replaced.

Much appreciated Smile

Mine did this ever since I got it, I thought it wouldn't be that bad and left it. Then my rear axle went bad so I decided to do everything at once. When we removed the topmounts they collapsed into a million little pieces! I had been turning on bare bits of broken metal, no bearings! There only about £40 iirc, you just need someone with spring compressors that knows what there doing. Try and get them replaced as soon as possible, I wish I had done mine sooner as the look on my mechanics face when they fell out said it all Smile

Never take anything to a national chain like Halfords Autocare, Kwik Fit or National because the all over charge!

I had the same just had both side cv joints changed, and also had to buy a little spring for the inner cv joint which could cause clicking and clunking etc, when you turn the wheel
