Howdo,
Im not very clued up on engines and how they work, but my 2.0HDi makes a very tappy noise that gets quicker the more I rev. Now on my old 1.6 petrol, it was the same and I was told the tappets need adjusting, Would this be the same for the Diesel?
Thanks
Nathan

have a listen if its louder on the drivers side.
if it is then it could be either the aux belt tensioner or the crank pully as they both tap when on the way out

may also check the oil level as well.....
mine tape really badly if the oil is near the lower end of the dip stick,
plus it tapes badly if certain brand of engine oil is used.
