Alright guys and girls. After trowling the web for a few days Iv hit a wall with these dials and now in need of major help.

Sometimes the speedo works and the rev gauge doesnt , sometimes both work, sometimes the rev guage works and the speedo doesnt, sometimes neither work.

The fuel gauge and temp gauge both work fine all the time.

Iv checked the connections on the back of the dials for any damaged pins and all seems well, changed the dials but made no difference. Have also changed the sensor on the back of the gearbox but again made no difference.

Have no idea where to look next. Have been told there's a plug down in the passenger wheel arch that sometimes can be at fault but cant seem to find anything.

Any help would be much appriciated as taking it to peugeot themselves really is a last resort

If we all stare at the crystal ball long enough, details about the car may appear

I have read into a bsi reboot but a little worried about doing it just incase it goes wrong due to it costing so much to fix :S

If you need any more info on the car all i know is that its an s reg 1.4, doesnt have ABS as far as im aware, has the single pin dials made by jager i think it is. Like i say this isnt my car but a friends
