Yes, brought one.
2.0 HDi Turbo 2001 genuine 53K, FSH. FireDance Orange.
From a dealer 3 Month Warranty.
3 month MOT, 2 Months Tax
New Brake pipe that was in the MOT advisory.
New battery as he said it has been standing around a little bit and he knows that I need it reliable for the winter.
£1650
Probably a little on the high side BUT he did want £1795.
So I 'Think' I did OK.
SO.. The plan.. Open to suggestions..
Need a good service manual. Are the CD ones off eBay OK??
I have done plenty of spannering so don't need a Haynes comic manual. Just something that will show me the what and where with figures
Going to change the CAM belt ASAP.
I do not now the history of that, it should have been done but for the money I would rather not have ANY doubts.
Do and oil and filter. Just because.
Anything else you can suggest??
Then it will down to modding it.
Once I have driven it a bit to make sure it's not a Lemon...
OH yeah!! Half or Full leather interior.. I don't know if the FULL leather makes ya a**e sweat!! I do a long drive sometimes...

Thanks for welcome...
Pics.. Seriously It's aBog standard 206..
Yeah!! Not modifying until after 3 months.. need to get a feel for the thing.
TBH, she might be a bag of nails. I have been driving a SEAT Inca 1.9 Diesel van for past year. So it is a bit of a difference.
Gear change x is a bit more. How shall i put it... Notchy, but that maybe me being a bit kak handed.
AND the pedal.. FFS what were the french thinking. Is there a MOD for them.. MY big feet UFF!!
My toe hits the steering colum, I am trying to adjust my pedal postition. I tend to use the ball of me foot.
BUT i do love the twisty roads.. Could do with a bit more feedback though.. Used to bikes so I will get over that.
I should point out.. aside from the Inca VAN, this is my first car..
Yeah!! doing ALL filters. Including fuel.. if there is one..

gear change is always s*** in a 206.
you should be able to spot the fuel filter once you remove the engine cover
