Can someone please tell me if this is it and if it goes directly from the alternator to the positive terminal on the battery? Thanks .. Sorry, should have put its a 1.4 9v 2000 and its the covered orange cable im referring to. Cheers

Looks a quite big (solid wire) ? I only have 2 quite small wires going to mine can't you just trace it?

It's a bugger to trace as it goes behind the engine. I think the cable itself is only small and covered by the orange cover for heat resistant.
