Hey guys just wondering if could clear something up that has me confused, been looking at some parts to get but I keep seeing these different models of the GTI, I know the 180 is fairly different I'm not sure if I have the 136BHP or the 138BHP model of gti, does the year make a difference? or are they just the same thing Confused

The power outputs are all the same, I think a few changes were made around 2001/02, electrics, seats, display, wheels.

Pretty sure they're all the same thing.

Obviously excluding 180's.

The only difference on the 138 GTis is the 2nd lambda sensor on cars fitted from the end of 2000 (coded RFN).
These cars are supposed to have 138 bhp, the earlier single lambda cars (coded RFR) had 137bhp.
