Okay as per title, I have a sneaky suspicion the clutch is hammered on my 1999 - 206 GT. Just another problem I'll have to fix, truly bought a lemon! Went great for a few months aswell!
So fitted a new Auxiliary / Aux belt today as I thought the squealing was coming from that, changed and the squeaking stopped, also thought it may be the tensioner but the new belt is tight enough. So last night as a continuation of my last thread the clutch locked into gear and it was a hassle trying to change gear. I fear the clutch my have disintegrated? 1st Video is with clutch being pressed in resulting in 'squeal' and then depressed.

On the second interior video you can hear the rattling and clonking when the pedal is pushed in along with the squeal.

Thanks for your reply mate, I was pricing up a new clutch kit, I suppose it wouldn't do me any harm replacing the entire clutch assembly and flywheel whilst I'm in there. I take it the RFN and RFR engine code clutch assembly's are the same and don't differ?

Excellent, I'll take a gamble and get it ordered and fitted. I 'think' the main changes in the RFN & RFR engines were the emissions and 1 bhp. Main parts and assembly stayed the same. I'll know this for certain next weekend though!
Would the Clutch Master Cylinder be affected by all this grinding and bumping at all?
