Hi all. I sold some rear lights on eBay and I got this message. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening? The lights were working fine or the 3 years I had them. Thanks
Hi there i have been having problems with the rear LED lights you gave me which only noticed cause am now driving home in the dark and the lights are faulty cause they short out and completely switch off all my electronics. I have been stopped 3 times by the police and today cautioned that if not sorted in 24hrs I get a £100 fine and 3 points for what they call dangerous driving for my lights being out even though all the symbols for lights on my dashboard stay active so I fitted the ones that the vehicle originally comes with and went for a drive along the exact same route and same speed as usual to fully test and the originals didn't go off once then same drive but coming home so on opposite side of the road but with the LED ones with dad following behind and the LED switch off after just 5mind and stayed off for the rest of the journey home even when I kept turning all the lights off and on again they didn't reactivate.

Get photo proof, sounds like a legitimate story, but majority of ebayers now try and scam! If it is an issue sounds like its the black box in the rear lights. You would have to refund him and i very much doubt you would get them working properly again.
