I know there are threads on here for changing the button on the end of the trip computer/wiper stalk, but I just wanted to check whether it was this button causing my problem..
When I click the trip computer button to alter the setting on the screen, the rear wiper activates, today the back wiper came on when it was switched off and stayed on intermittent until the car was re-started..
Just wondered whether this is the trip computer button or the coms unit?
Cheers.

Sounds like a short somewhere in the stalk.

I had the same problem my 206. I know this is an old thread but for those that are googling= Temp fix - If you press the trip computer button lightly near the middle then the rear wiper will stay put. The problem is as Steve stated, a short circuit between the twisty thingy and button when its pressed.
