i have a 1.4 hdi. can someone please tell me what symptoms there would be if the throttle position sensor was faulty? also known as APP (accelerator pedal position) sensor. thanks

I would assume that you would be getting wrong throttle responses different to what you would expect to be noal when moving the throttle pedal through its range of positions..

For instances...tick over to flooring it should be a fast steady rev increase all the way up to redline.
.faulty response could be reving to 3000revs then dropping off instead of steady rise expected and any strange responsrs like this...
