I know this is the door strap bit, but can this be quick fixed... or will it need to be replaced. Have tryed WD40 but doesnt seemed to have worked 100% made it slightly quieter.. but still has that strange creek... also seems like its looose is it safe to tighten those bolts? Could that also be part of the problem

had the same problem. just replace them very very easy to do

whats it like taking the door card offf, does everything snap and crumble lol any heads up to buy stuff before i do the task so i can replace the damaged bits taking it apart

not a big job getting the cards off, just look for hidden screws like the the one near the door jam (hinge side) and the one inside the handle. Also it kinda clips on the top first and then hangs down,so taken it off is the reverse of this.

each door card is 4 torx screws then pull it off. the clips that hold the door card on always snap, there pennies from dealer

has worked on drivers side, but passenger still bad.. seems almost like the bolts are slightly looose need to get a socket and check them

Problem fixed.. the bolts were loose once tightened and re-greased shes silky smooth again Razz
