I have a peugeot 206 with a gran turismo body kit fitted and the front bumper and splitter are too low and i keep catching/scraping it whilst trying to park or going over speed bumps the question i need to ask and it may seem a daft one but is there any other way to raise the front end of the car other than changing the tyres from low prfiles to normal, or can the front suspension be raised without too much hassle? I am a novice when it comes to cars so the easiest way would be a benefit.

Slow down over speed bumps and reverse into parking spaces. It's safer to reverse into them anyway.

you could lower the back more, this will bring up the front of the car without changing the front suspension or springs

Take the front skirt off...if it has one that is...u like all 206s have a front bumper that is probly the same color as the rest of the car but u might also have a thinish(1-2inches)black plastic/rubber skirt that runs across the cars front at the very bottom of the front bumper..
This should come off pretty easily so as you say if its so low it sounds like u have one so pull and cut it off trying not to damage the bumper above...it does nothing really so get rid mate...

are u refering to the front splitter that he has mentioned?

I had the same problem
I solved this by removing my bumper and found that the reinforcer plastic part behind the bumper had sagged down and was damaged, I just attatched a few more bolts and held it more firmly, it's more than likely the same problem
If you lift the front bumper up and down and it moves easily then it will be the same thing as what I had to do as I have the same bumper

So i missed that bit...either way its the right course of action which would have been more helpful if u had pointed that out rather than picking faults...
So wot needs doing to increase front clearance is to remove the front splitter...dead easy...

I had already thought of removing the front splitter, but the guy that i bought it off said it's job is to protect the bottom of the bumper but if that is the easiest option then I will remove it, thanks chaps for the replies

I wouldn't remove the splitter. As you say it's there to protect the bumper. If you take it off and the car still catches, it's the more expensive bumper that you're going to trash rather than the cheaper splitter.
What's the ride height of the car as it stands? I have standard suspension and standard tyres on a 1.4 and that catches on some speed humps and always scrapes on the road at the same couple of junctions. You've got the park bench bumpers so that will make a slight difference.
One tip is to slow down enough before the speed bumps and then accelerate onto them. This lifts the front of the car slightly and might just give you enough clearance.

Bumpers with grills like a park bench...like lllll <like this but on its side...like a peice then a gap then a peice then a gap etc.....also a splitter is for airflow not a sacrificial damage barrier...

The bumper sticks out that far it's big enough to park your backside on and have a picnic.
