Hi all.
Ive just installed a new Head Unit but it wont work.
Halfords have said i need to take the cable attatched the the rest of the cables to a perminant live? there is a ignition switch already there but i need a perminant live for the memory???
I have got the cable to under the steering wheel on my 206 but not sure how to identify a live?
i hate driving without music and i do alot of driving for work....
i start work again on wednesday so need this done asap!
any help would be appreciated!

If you put it on perminate live every time you would start the car the battery would be flat- they must of of said ignition live

When the key is turned the headunit has power

but my last head unit had power when the key was turned but thisone hasnt?

No you don't otherwise every time you'd start your car it won't due to a flat battery- check fuses

i put my old radio back in and it works.... so how could it be fuses?

Do you have a connector like this?

You need red going into yellow

reds going to red and yellow is going to yellow. swap them round?
