Brian's car is the one that made me want M3's, haha! I was looking through his project section and fell in love with them! 
yeah apparently he has his current ones becase they are rocking horse sh*t!

Sweet, have you got a pic of it? I'd be interested if they look the same as the bottom part of the M3's.
If they're properly black then that wouldn't blend as nicely

then again.. my car is a 53 plate.. so that's 2003? it did have PH2 front's though.. very confused..

180's had the 'phase 2' rear lights before Phase 2 was introduced [October 2003]
The previous owner probably replaced the lights
