Hi,

Happened twice now, this time the problem wasn't fixed by turning everything off and on again...

Skidded a bit down the road (in the snow!) and the airbag light came on and the speedometer stopped working. When stopped and put the handbrake on it beeps - like it does if you have the handbrake on when moving.

Happened a few months back, and was fixed by turning off engine, locking car and unlocking and starting again. Didn't seem to fix it doing it this morning.

EDIT: Its a 206 1.9d, 51 plate.

Any ideas?

Hi there, I have exactly the same problem I think. When you say speedo is it the entire cluster or just the speedo? First port of call is check the earth connections. Got mine booked into the garage tomorrow but he said it could be a multitude of things. He had a megane and the main fuse box was rusty and was causing a power failure

Just the speedo I think - although without looking can't be certain! Let me know what the garage has to say....

Thanks for the reply.

Will do, originally all the dials stopped working but the lights all stayed on. Was only today that it all completely died.
