Hi Guys, had my 3rd 206 for nearly a week now and have noticed a couple of issues with lights on the instrument panel. Firstly if I put the front fog lights on then both the symbols are illuminated, if I then switch rear fog on the rear symbol just gets brighter. Also the handbrake symbol is occasionally lit, but only faint, difficult to see it but it is there. I'm thinking earth fault possibly but unsure of where to look to be honest. Any pointers?
Thanks
Austin

Have you checked to see if the rear fog is coming on when the tell tale is lit?

Rear fog only comes on when the rear fog symbol is fully lit. Everything seems to work correctly there is just this ghosting effect on the instrument panel which is why I think earth fault.

Check your brake fluid to make sure that isn't low and making the handbrake light flicker when the car is at a certain angle.
Sounds like either an earth fault or a poor electrical connection somewhere. Can't be of anymore help because I have no idea which electrical system your car is running.

Sorry, it's a 2004 1.4 fever so presume it's multiplexed. Will check the brake level shortly but don't think it's that. Also sometimes I will indicate and as the indicator symbol is flashing the handbrake light flashes with it but as I said it's not fully lit just like a ghosting
