Yes! probably one of the biggest insurance increases for a non performance mod. if you are having to ask that question on here I suggest you call you insurer to discuss the cost of different mods to your insurance.

Yeah it will do mate, unless you have a really sweet insurer, or the girl on the phone fancies you Laughing
I got a quote on my car standard for 2500, and with it lowered on coilovers and 15" alloys, they wouldn't even insure me, and that was with a 'mod friendly' insurer.
