The next stage of upgrades to my car is to maybe have blue LED display lights that I've seen on here before (exactly like these in this video ... www.youtube.com/watch?...8KLlIHqiM)
I assume this is legal and not against the law?

Two questions: Firstly what do you all personally think? I think they are different which adds to uniqueness, some people may class them as chavvy or whatever but it does look fairly cool I have to say. Secondly, I wouldn't even know where to start with the kits/bits and bobs involved. So, what parts (links if possible?) do I need in order to fully set these blue LED inside lights up?

Finally, are HID lights/kits legal? Is there any way that I can run HID lights but be fully legal at the same time. I want the bright white lights that Audi's and Range Rovers produce, but I'm not sure if you can get this from 206s even with aftermarket products that are legal?

That is all for now, and thanks in advance

Lee

Video wont work on my phone but hids are only legal if you have projector lenses, which the standard 206 headlights dont have. Maybe some aftermarket angel eye ones might have em? As long as you've set the beam right you should be ok, if it isnt glaring the plod when they drive past I can't see it really being a problem
If you cant cable tie it, it's well and truly f****d

Not necessarily. VOSA cocked up with the wording. The washers and levelling system can only be checked if fitted. As far as I know, there has never been a definitive answer as to whether a car will fail for not having them fitted.

You can get SMD conversion kits for the dash click here

I'll send you a link to a how to via PM
