Thought it was about time I started a project thread, I have already done a few mods, so to start off with, it will be more of a recap, but with 2 kiddies both under two and my wife only working part time I'm on a tight budget (isn't everyone!).

So I started off with a 1999 Peugeot 206 GLX a while ago, and but it was starting to show it's age.

I was thinking about getting another 206, and did, well my wife did, she bought me a 2006 Peugeot 206 Verve for my birthday Laughing

I got the moddifying bug, so I carried it on with my new 206. As you will see my mods are quite tame and should reflect the fact that this is an everyday car and a family car too.

This is how she looked when I got her.

First thing I did was to put on the 17" Wolfrace alloys from the silver 206 and the silver bonnet grille.

Then I fitted some Cobra seats.

I then managed to sell the silver 206 and that gave some cash to buy new lights Very Happy

Fitted my new rear lights and some blue LED's for the interior (map, gloverbox and boot).

I finally got round to fitting my Angel Headlights after having them for a few months. I also added some SMD LED's for the side lights. Still haven't gotten round to fitting the headlight adjuster motors, yet.

Unfortunatly due to some potholes, 2 of my alloys had to be replaced. Managed to get them for £170 delivered.

Next thing to do was to fit a cone filter. I know that there are mixed opinions on these, but I like the sound and it has made a difference to how the car drives - so I'm really happy with it.

Still need to get a length of hose to direct some cold air from the front.

>> Added 11/10/2010 >>

Next came the stainless steel cat back exhaust with a 3" slash cut incurl tip from Longlife.co.uk. I'm very pleased with it, as i'm sure most of you have heard me boasting about it Very Happy - for those that don't know, I didn't want a loud exhaust, so I went for mild sport.

>> Added 11/10/2010 >>

I then got some wind deflectors fitted, part debadged the rear and finally stuck on the 206info sticker.

>> Update 11/06/2011 >> How the car looks at the moment.

I have also removed the front bumper so that I can replace the lower grill and the drivers side arch liner (wrong one is fitted to the car)

>> Update 25/06/2011 >> Finally had some time to do some bits...

Chrome door handles.

>> Update 04/11/2011 >> Update - How things stand at the moment...

Well, due to financial difficulties the car has been off road (untaxed & un-insured) for nearly a year now. Since it wasn't looking like I was ever going to afford to have it back on the road, the wife convinced me to sell it. So I started taking it back to standard and managed to sell off a few bits.

Then a new plan formed - which means I get to keep my car! I'm pleased I get to keep it, but annoyed that I had already sold off some bits, which I'm having to buy again.

Plans:

- Replace broken inlet manifold [Part bought]
- Fit GTI coolant expansion bottle [Part bought]
- Fit top strut brace [Part bought]
- Look into problem with car reaching 70mph
- Fit rear interior chrome door handles [Parts bought]
- 16" wheels
- Reposition induction kit [Silicone hoses needed]
- Fit spoiler [Bought, spray painted]
- Fit SP arches [Bought, needs spraying]
- Buy SP bonnet and bumper grille

That's all I can think of for now.

Being the picky sort - I really hate it when people say this. Yes we all know what it looks like - but we all want to see the condition that yours is in!

Looks very smart and clean Smile I do honestly prefer the standard alloys though, especially for when you lower it.

Cheers Danny. I still need to replace the dipped and main light bulbs so they too are white rather than yellow.

I got the SMD LED's from a eBay shop -> LINK

Thanks.

Unfortunately, it's not always that clean and being black, it's always dirty!

I really like that - it looks great! what colour is the 206info sticker - that's the colour I want but I don't know if that's chrome/silver/white :$

I really like everything you've done to the car so far!

Thanks. 5 door FTW!

Wifey said next car had to be a 5 door because getting the kids in and out was a pain with a 3 door.
