All,

My horn stopped working a few weeks ago. The weather has finally given me a chance to have a look at it.

I checked the fuse and this was ok.

Next I jacked the car up and unbolted the horn. I removed the electrical tape and did not need to remove the wires as they had corroded and snapped!

I cut the wires right back and put new terminals on. Fresh electrical tape and now the horn is working fine.

Happy days Smile

When it comes to cars I am mechanically and electrically retarded!! I am learning as I go. To be honest it was a relatively easy job. The only thing I would say is cut off enough of the corroded wires. I left a bit on and the horn still would not work. So cut a bit more off and problem solved.

I was dreading it was that! Glad it was only water damage.
