Alright guys,
Yesterday at work one of the lads was messing about with my car, putting the wipers up and stuff, and he decided to try unlock it, and it worked!
Has anyone else every tried this? I wanna know if its common, or just my car haha. His was a 106 key, the same shape, but I didn't let him try start the engine because I didn't know if it would activate the immobiliser haha.
Cheers,
Paddy!

So this is reasonably common? And the immobiliser stops it starting? but they can still get in, car manufacturer logic is terrible, especially considering it doesn't have an alarm either haha.

You have to think of the chances and probabilty.
How many cars do peugeot knock out and how many types of keys can they produce? Our type of blade has been running for years!
Plus any key will fit any lock with enough force

You've got to think as well that, if you go round trying peoples doors with your key. That they may have an alarm and it will go off without using the central locking

Seeing as the key design used on the 206 has been around since the early 1980s & has also been used by Citroen, Vauxhall, Renault & DAF all of the available key combinations will have been used several times over.

I've wated that for a while, it's just too expensive at the minute, and on a 206 seems a bit of a waste to me
