Sorry about that, was thinking BSI instead of ECU Smile
www.autodiagnos.com/si...ets_ad.pdf

Looks like a trip to your local Pug dealer. I had my BSI reflashed last fall (http://www.206info.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic/t=52648.html), they told me the software could be updated if newer version was available. All data had to be manually input after the update. Could be the same with ECU.

206 1.4 HDi

HI there. I have had the very same problem with my 1.4hdi over the last year and got it sorted about a month ago, she just would not go up hills, I had taken her two several places and no joy,
I had a new turbo ,MAF and EGR, and still no luck various diagnostics but nothing, until another mechanic drilled out the CAT and hey presto Thrust, really good thrust, drives like a new car pulls all the way to 90.so you need to take the cat off and give it a good inspection, even when it was tested on the car it read ok so don't be fooled like I was, my car has done 163000 and is still well just going, all the power and I've blown a piston ring ,but you cant have everything, Hope this helps,
DAve

Cat core had collapsed .. de-cat and power!!! (well 68 horses anyway!!!)

Core was like a large ball ... should have been a cylinder filling the box. Was rolling around and blocking exhaust pipe.

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
