Hi everyone,
Im looking to fit a decat downpipe & wondering what effect this will have on the lumda sensors & engine management light ?? i.e will it show up as 'catalytic converter error, anti pollution error'
Can anyone advise??

Leave the cat where it is.
Your NOT going to gain the performance you think by removing the cat.
We have left the 1990's long behind where the decat was the must have chav mod

apologies guys but I didnt explain properly, Im not de-cating the exhaust for a performance upgrade. Im doing it because the cat needs to be replaced & I dont have the £300ish (bits & fitting) to get a new one.
I have been given a decat downpipe for nothing & wondering if the engine management light ('catalytic converter fault' & 'anti pollution fault') will be on constantly on as a result & if they are, is there a way of preventing it?
It is a temp fix until I can afford the proper exhaust.
