Could anyone recommend some good lowering springs or coil overs please? i'm not sure which to get and I've never bought lowering/coils for a car before! James

Depends how much you want to pay, the top Coilovers (Bilstein, Eibach, AVO etc) are circa £600

Even the Springs for these brands are circa £150 then you have the dampers which are triple the price

The cheap ones will cost you from as low as circa £40 for a pair of springs and £120 for coilovers; which are good for the purpose but don't expect a quality ride.

I've recently had the front of mine lowered 35-40mm on some FK AK Springs off ebay for £40 and the ride was aleady bumpy enough now I feel every imperfection in the road. But I dont mind, and I still think I got value for money. My car sits much better.

Just remember your suspension (wishbones and so on) will give way a lot quicker with a lowered car.

Thanks for the reply lee, will look into them probably just going to go for lowering springs though.

there's a set of avo in the for sale section atm for 270 collected bargain but if you cant collect askmfor a price couriered

You do realise you only have springs on the so it's more more complicated to drop the rear ... torsion bars!
