I have a 206 2000 1.1 and several months ago I had to replace the speedo motor on the dash as it was faulty. Unfortunately when doing this some of the other dials (petrol, temp and rev) got a little messed up.
I have now managed to get the petrol, rev and speedo about correct but I have no idea what the temp should be.
Does anyone know where the needle should point if I turn the car on from cold (say not used for a day or two). I would also be interested to see what the revs and speed should be on idle.
Please don't say they should be on 0 as I know they should but the pins do move on start and there is no obvious 0 point. Also I know revs should be somewhere around the 1000 mark.
If someone could take a picture it would really be appreciated. I can post a picture of my dash if needed
Thanks
Gary

all your needles should rest on the little points at the bottem of each dial then temp should level it self anf the first line when its completely cold and build as gets hotter obv
as for the idle my 1.4 when first started cold sits at around 1000rpm for 5min then settles at around 800-900rpm dont quote me but sure thats standard through out the range
