Wrong thread? What size/pitch did you get?

These will fit the thread at the sills, but not at the chair points. The pitch is not fine enough. These will be a 1.5mm pitch and you need 1.00 or 1.25. I forget which. I have paperwork somewhere, but that would be like trying to find a fart in a jacuzzi...

3 point is ok, but i have 4 points given the use of the car - where are you anchoring your three points?

I have mine 1st on the exhaust tunnel (welded in place both sides) 2nd on the standard point by the door (rear footwell) and 3rd one goes to the back quarter panel point. it is within the guidelines of we're you should have it as seen in this pic

I hope this isent your day to day car your putting these into? Mine are quick-release ones that I can take in and out as they are really quite dangerous on road as you can't move in your seat to see around you or move to look at junctions.

Ok - first up - what I said - its the other way round. Its the finer pitch you will have which is standard 1.25. You need M10 x 1.5mm pitch. I got them from motorsport-tools.com - part number MSTGE50AMX at 2 squid a piece.

Second, as you only have one rear anchor point, you will need to, ideally, put in a plate on the floor at the back as the pre-drilled seat belt holes at the back will pull the strap out of line. The other two points at the front are fine.

If you need to pass regs, then you will need to do as Spike mentions and not use the mount on the seat and weld a plate to the exhaust tunnel, but for road/track, the existing seat mount is acceptable.

I wouldn't recommend fixing it to the seat/frame as if worst was to happen and you crash and you seat gets dislodged… your attached to it! Best to do I right 1st time. ill upload some photos later for you how mine is fitted with a 3point system. Matts 4point is also correct way as he has a Y strap that converts 3-4 point but if you've already got the 3point then you'll wanna go the way I did.
