can u clean them with brake clearer and just spray the stuff on? or u better giving it a brush? how do you get them out, seem solid in there.
my car got rr'd standard at 170.3 bhp and 142.7lbf.ft
torque seems abit low
its got a superchips map now, and beats type r's off the line then the type r pulls level at 120mph where it stays all the way

Ermm thats decent fiqures for a 180?! I would expect more 160 level tbh.
The vvt solenoid i would either replace or use brake cleaner
As for the type r comment, im just going to ignore that.

So a superchip has given you 27bhp increase..? Did you sniff something before typing that last paragraph out..?

Just because "he" beat a type R off the line doesnt mean he has the same BHP as a Type R

This is hilarious, gone from asking for advice to bitching in no time, no wonder this place is quiet.
My car rolled 168.0 bhp at Alan Jefferies in Plymouth - I have no idea whether thats an accurate figure or not, nor am i that fussed, but ive had a few plays with type r's and its always been very evenly matched. Guess i must have an extra 29bhp hiding somewhere
