Thanks. Useful information as well. I will hopefully get a chance to do it tonight. I assume you're essentially suggesting this as a hammer and chisel type method of loosening the ring?
Again it may be an obvious thing but I assume I need to unclip the pipes as a first step before loosening anything? Thanks again.
